  • Kendo sobib kõigile

    Eestis harrastavad kendot lapsed ja täiskasvanud, naised ja mehed, kohalikud ja välismaalased, pikad ja lühikesed, algajad ja edasijõudnud, vaprad ja alahoidlikud.

  • Kendo on turvaline

    Harrastajad kannavad kaitsevarustust ja hooldavad seda regulaarselt. Kendos ei ole lööke käte ega jalgadega, heiteid ega võtteid. Kendo parandab nii füüsilist, kui ka vaimset tervist.

Jaapani mõõgavõitluskunsti kendot on Eestis harrastatud 2001. aasta kevadest alates ning tänaseks on klubid ja toimivad treeningrühmad lisaks Tallinnale veel ka Tartus. Lisaks trennidele korraldame regulaarselt ka laagreid, mida käivad vedamas kõrge tasemega õpetajad nii mujalt Euroopast kui ka Jaapanist. Laagritesse on tavaliselt oodatud ka algajad, eraldi algkursused leiavad aset kaks korda aastas.
Kevadeti toimub Tallinnas nüüd juba traditsiooniline kendolaager, millest võtavad osa kendokad Eestist, Soomest, Lätist, Leedust, Venemaalt, Rootsist, Saksamaalt ja Jaapanist. Vaatamata sellele, et kendo näol on tegemist täis-kontakt võitlusalaga on nii harjutamine kui võistlemine väga turvalised ning see sobib tegelemiseks soost ja vanusest sõltumata. Trennid on füüsiliselt küll intensiivsed, kuid harrastaja-tasemel ei nõua kendo mingit erakordset kehalist võimekust — pideva harjutamisega suudab igaüks jõuda mõne aastaga dan-tasemeni.
Kendo on endiselt väga traditsiooniline ala mida aeg on üsna vähe muutnud ning selliselt õpib seda harrastades lisaks oskusele mõõka käsitseda veel ka palju Jaapani kultuuri kohta laiemalt. Sellelt saidilt leiab üldist informatsiooni kendo kohta, mis loodetavalt vastab esimestele küsimustele — ja kui midagi jääb endiselt segaseks võib alati oma küsimused meile meiliga saata. Selleks, et saada ettekujutust milline kendo täpselt on tasub aga kas laagrisse või siis ka iganädalasse trenni ise kohale tulla.

Sügisene minilaager Tartus

Tartu kendoklubi korraldab ühepävase minilaagri. * Kuupäev: 12.11.2017 * Esialgsed trenniajad: 10:30-13:00, 14:00-17:00 * Koht: Miina Härma Gümnaasiumi võimla (Tõnissoni 3, Tartu) * Laagritasu: 10 EUR, saab tasuda nii klubi pangaarvele kui sularahas kohapeal. * Õpetajad: Margus Freudenthal, Villo Kuht, Francesco Estudillo (3 dan) Plaanis on ka kata trennid, palun võtke kaasa bokken. Pärast laagrit võimalus korraldada aftekas saunaga.

Laste treeningud: Algkursus kolmapäeviti 18:00-19:00 Reaalkooli võimlas. Edasijõudnutel lisandub treening esmaspäeval 19:00-20:30 samas kohas.
Kuutasu lastele 25 EUR. Kui trennides osalev täiskasvanu tasub kuutasu, on trennid tema lapsele tasuta
